Admission Criteria

We are pleased to provide you with the admission requirements for our Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT) program:

1. Academic Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have completed their +2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum of second division.
  • Alternatively, candidates should have secured at least a grade of 'C' in all subjects in both Grade 11 and Grade 12, with a strong background in Physics and Mathematics.

2. Cambridge International Education (CIE):

  • For candidates with Cambridge International Education (CIE) qualifications, you should have completed A levels in Science, with a specific focus on Physics and Mathematics, and obtained at least a 'D' grade.

3. Diploma in Engineering (CTEVT):

  • Candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering program from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), with a specialization in Physics and Mathematics, are eligible to apply.

4. Entrance Examination:

  • All applicants are required to successfully pass the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University (TU). A minimum of 35% marks in the entrance exam is required for eligibility.

  • Applicants must ensure that they complete all application procedures as specified by the university and St. Xavier's College.
