The integrated Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law (BEc-LL.B) Programme is the second undergraduate programme being offered by Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSOL). This course is offered every February in addition to the existing integrated course on law and management, Bachelor of Business Management & Bachelor of Law (BBM-LL.B).

The legal component gives the same focus and strength in BEc-LL.B as in the BBM-LL.B programme. It meets all requirements of the professional undergraduate degree or Legum Baccalaureus. Students will be trained for taking the bar exam and proving analytical ability in advising or representing clients in the court system as a lawyer. It will meet all the prerequisites necessary for a general legal practitioner. Graduates may also consider careers as law officers, in-house advisers, legal consultants, or court officers, and may work in public administration, real estate management, corporate business, taxation, or consultancy services.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 intermediate degree or its equivalent of at least two years duration in any discipline with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and minimum ‘C’ grade in all subjects from accredited Universities or Boards recognized by Kathmandu University.

Selection Procedure

Candidates must pass the Kathmandu University Law School Admission Test (KULSAT) conducted by Kathmandu University School of Law, KUSOL. The KULSAT consists of:

Written Test (100 Points)

  • English (50 points)
  • Legal Motivation (50 points)

Interview (20 Points)

  • Personality Test (20 points)
