At the Bachelor level, students will gain hands-on experience by working on a short film, TV commercial, music video, and a large-scale outside broadcast—all designed to build a compelling professional showreel and filmography.
You’ll sharpen your creative expression and technical expertise while mastering key industry disciplines, including:
Screenwriting
Directing
Cinematography
Motion Graphics
Post-Production
Through collaborative projects with JMC Academy’s Music Performance and Entertainment Management students, such as the production of a music video, you’ll engage in real-world industry scenarios. You’ll also explore advanced production management and refine your post-production and motion graphics skills—equipping you to enter the screen industry with confidence and creativity.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the time of enrolment.
Successful completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system,
OR
An equivalent Senior Secondary Certificate, with a pass in General English,
OR
A comparable qualification, such as:
Certificate IV or higher for Bachelor’s degree applicants
Certificate III or higher for Diploma applicants
Applicants must meet one of the following English language test scores:
IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with no individual band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT: Total score of 73, with a minimum writing score of 18
PTE Academic: Score between 50–57
Cambridge English (C1 Advanced): Overall score of 169
