At the Bachelor level, you'll gain hands-on experience by working on a variety of industry-standard projects—including short films, TV commercials, music videos, and large-scale outside broadcasts—to build an impressive professional showreel and filmography.
Throughout the program, you'll sharpen your creative expression and enhance your technical proficiency in key areas such as:
Screenwriting
Directing
Cinematography
Motion Graphics
Post-Production
These skills will equip you to confidently step into the dynamic world of film, television, and digital media.
You’ll also benefit from cross-disciplinary collaboration, working closely with JMC Academy’s Music Performance and Music Management students on joint projects—such as producing a music video—while delving deeper into advanced production management, post-production techniques, and motion graphics.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
To be eligible, you must have completed one of the following:
Year 12 in the Australian school system; OR
An equivalent qualification, such as a Senior Secondary Certificate with a pass in General English; OR
A recognized Certificate qualification:
Certificate IV or higher – for applicants to Bachelor programs
Certificate III or higher – for applicants to Diploma programs
If English is not your first language, you must meet one of the following minimum language requirements:
