You’ll have the opportunity to:
Build real-world experience in stage and production management, music publishing, talent management, and event management
Engage with industry professionals and grow your network through active, hands-on learning
Understand the entertainment industry from the inside out, including how to manage creative talent, plan large-scale events, and launch successful campaigns
Participate in the Student Exchange Program at the Fontys Academy of Creative Industries in the Netherlands – a global opportunity to broaden your perspective and experience international industry practices
Throughout the course, you will:
Design and deliver national promotional campaigns for products, artists, and events
Plan, manage, and execute both external and in-house events with confidence
Develop strong event logistics and production skills, underpinned by sound business acumen
Gain practical experience to run operations across the entertainment spectrum while building a powerful industry network
Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to:
Strategically acquire and develop artists and entertainment projects
Create and present professional proposals to management companies, agents, and sponsors
Conduct feasibility studies, and develop touring and business plans
Apply critical thinking, commercial insight, and technological expertise to thrive in various entertainment industry roles
This Bachelor’s degree is structured over a duration of 6 trimesters, with students undertaking 4 units per trimester. The program comprises a total of 24 units, including:
22 core units
2 elective units
Completion of all units is required to qualify for the award of this degree.
Applicants must be 17 years of age or older at the time of application.
Applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
Successful completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system, or
An equivalent qualification with a Senior Secondary Certificate and a pass in General English, or
A comparable qualification, such as:
Certificate IV or higher – required for Bachelor degree applicants
Certificate III or higher – required for Diploma applicants
International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by meeting one of the following minimum test scores:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5, with no band lower than 6.0
TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 73, with a minimum of 18 in Writing
PTE Academic: Score between 50–57
Cambridge English: C1 Advanced (CAE): Overall score of 169
