Success as a manager in the creative industries requires a solid foundation in entertainment business fundamentals. This diploma provides comprehensive industry knowledge and develops a strong understanding of business practices, along with the challenges involved in commercialising music, entertainment, and the arts.
The course enhances your communication skills, equipping you to craft effective marketing plans, briefs, proposals, advertising copy, and media releases. You will also gain practical experience in negotiation, copyright, intellectual property, licensing, and the legal aspects essential to the industry.
Applicants must be 17 years or older at the time of application.
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Successful completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system, or
An equivalent qualification with a Senior Secondary Certificate pass in General English, or
A comparable qualification, including:
Certificate IV or above for Bachelor degree applicants
Certificate III or above for Diploma applicants
International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following minimum scores:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5, with no individual band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 73, with a minimum of 18 in Writing
PTE Academic: Score between 50 and 57
Cambridge English: C1 Advanced (CAE): Overall score of 169
