This dynamic and hands-on Diploma program blends technical foundations with creative artistry to help you shape your unique identity as a music producer and composer. Central to your learning journey are weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions, where you will refine your production techniques, enhance your songwriting abilities, and build a portfolio of original works.
You will explore key areas such as composition, arranging, music theory, recording techniques, production, and music analysis, all supported by the use of industry-standard software including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Sibelius.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned producer, this course empowers you to unlock your creative potential, overcome artistic blocks, and develop the skills necessary to express your ideas confidently in sound, lyrics, and music.
The Diploma in Music Production is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in music theory, composition, technology, and production. The course is delivered over two trimesters and includes the following units:

Minimum Age:
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of their studies.
Academic Entry Requirements:
Applicants should meet one of the following:
Completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system, OR
An equivalent qualification with a Senior Secondary Certificate pass in General English, OR
A recognised qualification such as:
Certificate IV (or higher) – for Bachelor degree applicants
Certificate III (or higher) – for Diploma applicants
English Language Proficiency:
International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following tests:
IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 73 with a minimum writing score of 18
PTE Academic: Overall score between 50–57
Cambridge English (CAE) C1 Advanced: Overall score of 169
