The Diploma in Music Production is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in music theory, composition, technology, and production. The course is delivered over two trimesters and includes the following units:

Admission Requirements

Minimum Age:
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of their studies.

Academic Entry Requirements:
Applicants should meet one of the following:

• Completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system, OR

• An equivalent qualification with a Senior Secondary Certificate pass in General English, OR

• A recognised qualification such as:

  • Certificate IV (or higher) – for Bachelor degree applicants

  • Certificate III (or higher) – for Diploma applicants

English Language Proficiency:
International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following tests:

• IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0

• TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 73 with a minimum writing score of 18

• PTE Academic: Overall score between 50–57

• Cambridge English (CAE) C1 Advanced: Overall score of 169
