The MSc One Health: Environment, Animal and Human Disease at the University of the West of Scotland is designed to explore the interconnected relationship between human health, animal health, and environmental systems. The programme focuses on understanding how diseases emerge, spread, and can be controlled across ecosystems.
Students study key global challenges such as zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, environmental pollution, climate change impacts on health, and public health protection strategies. The course combines biomedical science, environmental science, and epidemiology to address real-world global health problems.
Core modules may include:
3 yrs & 4 yrs - 55%, 6.0/5.5, PTE - 59/59, Gap Acceptable (need to justify)
